Rhonda was born in Ohio in 1967.  She is the proud mother of five children and grandmother of fifteen.  She is married to a wonderful man, James Hale, who is truly her partner in life. She quit school at an early age to raise her children.  Years later entering the work force in full throttle, she quickly became an owner/operator in the trucking industry.  Working hard in several different fields, she realized she needed her high school diploma to better her career and lifestyle for the future of herself and her family.  

 In July 2008 she stepped into the GED building at SGTC.   

v  She received her diploma in August;

v  entered college at SGTC in September; {Marketing/Management}

v  In October she became president of the local PBL chapter;

v  In January 2009 she was nominated for the Eagle Award;

v  In February she received the Eagle Award and became a GED ambassador;

v  Also in February she attended PBL’s district competition and received 2nd place in Management Concepts and received the Directors award for CMAP.

v  In March she received student of the month in marketing/management and was selected the overall student of the month for SGTC;

v  In April 2009, she became a Georgia PBL State Officer. 

v  Also in April she attended the PBL State competitions in Atlanta Georgia. She came out with:

-        The Who’s Who in PBL award

-        2nd place in Future Business Executive

-        2nd place in the Annual Business Report

-        PBLs Membership Madness Award

v  In May she received the NLC and the IFL scholarship awards.

v  In May she became Vice President of Georgia PBL

v  In June she will be accompanying two other fellow members to the National competitions, for a week, in Anaheim California.  A competition that has members from all over the world competing.

Rhonda has shown great strength and determination in everything she has done. She puts forth the extra effort to reach her goals and takes pride in everything she does. She is not afraid to take on great responsibility and overcomes every challenge she is faced with. Rhonda is firmly an upcoming Business Leader of America
